The Varian Orchards wedding barn has two rooms, four handicapped accessible bathrooms, a bar area, and exits to an open deck overlooking the lake and a cement patio for outdoor barbeques or food trucks.
The larger room is a spacious dining room with high ceilings, handicapped assessable ramp, and high ceilings with banks of lighting. Originally built in the 1920s, the room was used as a storage for apples using a cooling system that utilized the night coolness. The room is heated and air-conditioned.
The smaller room is perfect for buffet, bar, dancing, and socializing. The north opening has a garage door for easy access to a cement patio for more room and or outside cooking and additional tables. The south doors exit onto a large deck that can be used for seating or high top tables for gathering. This area also has four large bathrooms which are handicapped accessible.
The barn has a caterer’s kitchen with a large glass front refrigerator and freezer, bank of three sinks, and a work area. It also has a room and a loft area that houses props, such as carts, crocks, lanterns, and more for event use.
In addition, with a separate entrance is a “bride’s room” where the bride and her bridesmaids can get ready and relax.
